Sahaja Yoga is becoming. Shri Mataji uses this word Becoming in almost all her lectures stating we cannot understand Sahaja Yoga but have to become. This is the greatest Quality of the Sushumna Nadi and at every Chakra we need to become. Of course the first aspect of this Journey is have desir, have interest, then it starts. Like for example as an Analogy, If we want to become a great car driver,then the start point is to awaken the desire to learn. Then we will seek out a Driveing class or ask someone to actually teach us which starts from Firstly understanding where is the brake, Accelartor, cluth, gears, how t start etc. This is not knowledge but we become aware but we are not yet driver. However until we practically pratice it, this knoweldge or awareness is of no practical use. Then when we practice we start drining and maybe afetr a 1 month we may become a good driver too. But still have we become a driver.? if we leave it and dont sustain it we may still not become a driver. So with sustained effor we prerfect the art and then this becomes a part and parcel of our being. This is becoming. So similarly when we look at our chakras and nadis and the spiritual growth, for example if we say we have our goal is to become the Atma, then unless we become it is not knwoeldge but the practice makes the becoming. So what is the driving force behind this becoming of anything? what is it that drives this? Shri mataji calls that it is the faith which is the becoming power. So faith is that power which drives the desire, makes us practose , sustain it and then we become. Let us try and underatdn this through a speech of Shri Mataji which she gave in a seminar in 1980 called the Becomng Seminar.
